My baby's here...

I'll post my birth/labor story later. Just wanted to let anyone that was following what was going on with me know Savannah is here. She was born Nov 7th at 5:22 pm, after a long over 16 hours of labor she came out 6 pounds, 1 ounce 18 1/4 inches long. She initially was doing fine but was rushed to the NICU yesterday when she started turning blue and her respiratory rates were elevated. She is now on 40% oxygen, has a tube in her mouth down to her stomach for feeding, 2 IV's with antibiotics, and is being monitored closely. They still have no idea what happened or what is causing her need for oxygen. As long as all her tests keep coming back negative they are beginning to think she just was not ready to come out (I had to be induced at 37 weeks due to medical issues with BP and amniotic fluid). I'm hoping my beautiful girl will just make a big turn for the best and can be taken off the oxygen by the end of the weekend so she can come home. Thoughts and prayers appreciated.

I'll say a small prayer for her. I hope they figure it out, so scary   DD was born at 37w 6d after a membrane sweep for low fluid. (I was scheduled to be induced the day after)

COngrats, but yes we will pray.   I know how hard it is having one in the NICU. But keep positive and enjoy the beauty you have.

For anyone that was still watching this, GREAT news. Savannah is completely off her oxygen, breathing great on her own. So far all of her tests have come back perfect and tomorrow she has one more to do. They will do a cranial ultrasound tomorrow to check for any complications or damage in her brain but the doctor is confident it will come back completely normal. As long as the results get in tomorrow evening or early tuesday morning, she will be home TUESDAY! I'm so excited and grateful. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!
