A little Jr?

DH all of a sudden wants to name this baby after him, making him a Jr.
He's still not 100% but I don't know how I feel about it.

I did mention it to him when we first found out we were having a boy. He was totally against it. Now, he wants a Jr. I honestly think the ONLY reason he NOW wants a Jr is because his mom mentioned it  

We were SET on Keagan Paul.

I also don't want a Jr because that means I won't be able to use Paul as the middle name. Paul is a very special name to me. My Uncle / God Father's name was Paul. We were very close. He passed away from a very, very severe stroke on St. Patrick's day, two years ago coming up.

How should I say no, nicely, to DH about this? I kind of want my child to have his own identity (besides middle name).

Our sons name would be Raymond James McSorley.
I'm also kind of eh on the name James because one of my uncles was named James. He took his life in a very groosem (sp?) way and every time I hear the name James it just makes my stomach turn and I think about my uncles suicide.

Tell him it reminds you of your uncle. I like Keegan Paul better personally

My.husband did that! He was against naming him after him, so we pickedbout Carter. After I had him he changed his mind. I said nope. This is Carter. He does have daddy's middle name though!

DH and I are against naming our future son a Jr. We already have a name picked out, if we ever have a boy that is lol

He never wanted a Jr before. He is actually against babies being a Jr.

I'm naming my son after my fiance but his middle name is going to be Kevin instead of Jermaine ( kevin was his uncle who died). So I think he can still be a jr with out the middle name being the same.

It's only a Jr if he has the whole name. First, middle and last.

I'm being the bigger person with the friend situation. Like it escalated really badly...over a friken NAME!
Landon is out of the picture, totally. Keagan was on our list in the beginning. We skipped over that because we couldn't decide on a spelling. Now it's back to Keagan and we agreed last night that Keagan was THE name. But we were still eh on the spelling. I agreed with DH on the spelling, even though it didn't matter to me, really.
But now MIL mentioned Jr to him...out of the blue, and that's what he wants....because she wants that.

I love the name Carter so much, I named my dog that!
Then we found out I was pregnant and I was pissed we named our dog Carter!!!!!

I just told him. He sort of ignored me. I also brought up how he was totally against Jr's and now only wants a Jr because of his mom.
