Well if it makes you feel better, with my son, the recovery area was my room so I got my son right away.
Most planned C-Sections you get the baby right away. Especially for breastfeeding.

oh thats good   I breastfed my first for over a year, so I will DEFF be doing the same for my little man

You didn't get her right away!? I got my babies in recovery.

Nope I laid in a room for like 30 min by myself crying, with a nurse in there like checking me and writing stuff down. Terrible

My daughter had trouble so I didn't get to see her for 8hrs, but with my son I got him right away.

She was very big and healthy so that was not why I didn't get her. I have no idea why.

They were probably just being slow in getting her to you.

Olivia went to the nursery for like 15 cause she needed oxygen but then she got to come back to me. Tanner went to the recovery room with my husband and was waiting for me haha.

My daughter had fluid in her lungs and needed oxygen and an IV so she was kept in the nursery for about a day.
With my son, the recovery room was actually my room room so when I went in there, the nurses and my SO were there waiting for me too  

I thought the shivering was just my nerves. The epidural took at least 4 hours to start to wear off. Hopefully a spinal does wear off faster because I don't want to wait that long to see my baby.
