Okay so I think it's just the pregnancy hormones BUT I recently told everyone I was pregnant her name was going to be Aurora. One of my friends said "oh, like the disney princess" and I know she meant absolutely nothing by it but I so badly wanted to say "NO!!!!! LIKE THE AURORA BOREALIS!!!" because in all honesty that's why I love the name, something so beautiful and natural..and then it got me thinking, people assume just because my name is Autumn, I am named after the season, when I'm actually named after a song...I mean, granted, the song is about the season but still!...I don't expect people to just know about it but what do I do, do I correct them? I mean, it's probably not even a big deal and I'm thinking too deep on this one...what do you think?

I would tell people the real meaning, not neccesarily correct them. But only people that actually matter like friends and family, not the lady at the store kwim.

Firs thing that comes to my mind is the Aurora Borealis! I was so going to name my youngest Aurora because my oldest is Autumn and I almost wanted matchy names, lol. Sometimes I still wish I would have, but I know I'd get them mixed up even more than I already do

A few weeks back some random guy came up to me at school and started talking to me. After I said my name was elizabeth he asked me if I was Mexican because it's a mexican name. lol I said it's actually Hebrew and then he wanted to know if I was hebrew....

my mom does that, my name is Autumn and my sister's name is Amanda she will call us by each others name and not catch on to it and then get angry when the one she had really wanted to call doesn't respond...

I didn't even know there was a princess named Aurora. The first thing I usually thought of was the aurora borealis. Now all I think of is the shooting in colorado
