Nice choice

I think it is fair for people to assume that Autumn is named after the season since that is the typical meaning.

I have never heard of a Disney princess named Aurora but my DD is still too young for movies   I immediately thought of a circle of light (like in religious iconography), but I think I am mixing up aurora with aura. Aurora Borealis would be my second though.

Meh, when I tell people I'm naming my daughter Aria, they think of the Pretty Little Liars character. I just politely correct them.

I expected a lot of PLL references with my son, Ezra. But I haven't gotten one! Crazy

we were thinking aurora for a minute.

Both of our kids have names that stem from bodies of water in Seattle.
Well, we're kind out of bodies of water in Seattle w/ useable names. Aurora is a seattle name everyone knows well...... Except it's the street all the hookers walk.

yeah, We can't use that name any more. LMAO

I had the same reaction with my daughter's name. She's named Piper (before it got super popular) and everyone assumes it was for the TV show charmed. People would always be "ooh you like charmed!" And I would actually tell them. "No. I liked the meaning and it fit her." I didn't care if they were hurt by it. they assumed and I made them an ass.

seriously! It's not like aria is an unusual word. People should at least know it is a type of song or musical peice even if they don't know the full definition.

I thought you were named after a season.

And I thought you chose aurora because of the Disney princess.

People think onalee is from the song puff the magic dragon. Totally different name. And I hot her name from cassie from by her daughter is onalee.

I love the name Ezra...I was thinking about it if we were to ever have another boy but that would just be too much, I think. My cousin did just have a baby girl named Spencer, though.
DH actually got the name from Game of Thrones (Arya) and I decided to spell it the traditional way.

Thank you! It was the first name hubby really showed any enthusiasm about. I wasn't crazy about it at first but it grew on me, and now I love it.
