did my water break or am i just peeing?? sry tmi

ok i have been changing my pad every cpl hrs since last nite cuz everytime i move or cough or anything i feel like im getting wet.. i keep trying to go to the bathroom but it still happens even after i go.. also my pads are clear not yellow like they were before if i accidently peed a lil.. could it be my water broke?

When my water broke I KNEW. It was huge gushes. Maybe a slow leak? I'd call your OB to be sure.

When in doubt call, I don't think we can give you advice if we don't see it for ourselves. This far along in pregnancy I would defiantly call and ask

If you're filling pads, you need to go get checked out

sounds like it may have broke. I know a lot of people who water broke that way. Mine was a pop in my belly then a big gush! call your ob.

When my water started leaking, it woke me up because I thought I was peeing myself. I still wasn't sure it was my water about 10 hours later... but I started bleeding and went to L&D. Sure enough it was my water slowly leaking... I only had a few small gushes. I wasn't having any noticable contractions or anything, either. Just leaking water. I ended up having to be induced to prevent infection.

Moral of the story: when in doubt, get checked!

Call your doctor and explain what's going on, they will likely recommend that you go to the hospital or to the office to test the fluid.

When my water broke, I had gotten out of bed one morning and it went all over my bedroom floor. I went to L&D and they told me I kept peeing myself.(it happened numerous times after that initial time) Until finally I went back 12 hours later and demanded they tested me. I knew I wasn't peeing myself. I too ended up having to be induced.

Moral of my story: Make them test it!!

went to the dr and got checked.. they said it wasnt my water.. so now im back home waiting.. wont be long!
