Anyone have a false gender ultrasound?

I had my 16 week ultrasound and the baby was uncooperative so the shots we got weren't great. He got a shot from behind and didnt see a scrotum, so we are assuming it's a girl. Anyone have something similar happen and it end up being a boy?? I want to start shopping haha but I'm afraid it's going to end up being a boy after I buy 100 bows..............

We don't know the gender but my cousin was told over and over it was a girl had a girl shower everything was for a girl they had a boy

Lack of a sack doesn't always equal female. It could have been a bad shot. It nearly happened to me this time. I had to lay on my side and cough a bunch of time and "he" finally showed his goods.

Thanks! I guess I will wait til my 20 week ultrasound and see if he can get a better shot of it!

They always say girl if they dont' know for sure. it's like default. Do you get another ultrasound?
my cousin was told girl with ALL 3 of her boys. lol And my bestie was told girl and had a boy.
I'm scared they messed up and that this baby is really a girl. lol but it was a pretty clear shot.

Yes, I have another one in 4 weeks at my 20 week appt. Then another at 28 weeks. I haven't ever heard of a false boy reading at the ultrasound either! I think you are just fine!
