No. You're making excuses. Like I said. I do this for a living. To get financial aid loans, it is NOT based on income. Anyone can get loans. Now grants, that is income based yes, but it works on a sliding scale. We make over 50k a year and still qualify. Anyone can get loans to pay back later. And who wants to take out loans???? People who want to succeed and aren't just looking for free government hand outs! MANY people understand that in order to succeed they have to go the extra mile and MAY have something to pay back later. It's a sacrifice that is worth bettering their lives for.

Even rich people my have difficulty getting a job after college. You're throwing a million excuses out there. If someone wants to better themselves and their situation, they would. Plain and simple.

And way to go throwing martin into the conversation. Has NOTHING to do with school and financial aid. You are totally grasping at straws. How to you explain people that HAVE come from nothing, go to school, and become something? Because they wanted to. It happens everyday. People from the ghetto get past their circumstances and want more for themselves.

Well of you do have kids it's easier to get financial aid everyone is not in YOUR situation, but for someone that is young with no kids and parents making a certain amount of money they may not get financial aid and parents or the child has to pay out the pocket. There was a time when i couldn't get financial aid. I have an ex friend that was in school she couldnt get it either. It all depends on who you live with how much they make or you make and if you have dependents. If i have no job im not going to take out a loan especially in this economy. I woukd find a job first and with this economy its going to take alot of time. It's not excuses it's real life smurf. Yes I mentioned martin and 3 others. This thread is not about loans and financial aid. I agreed to the op that its smurfed up to keep mentioning racism on your facebook, but im letting her know it still EXISTS its not obsolete.

Education has everything to do with this. For those thinking the white man is still out to get them? Prove them wrong. Make something of yourself. Dont just wallow in poverty, gang bang, or do/sell drugs. Dont fit the stereotype you think others have of you. Get the hell out of your situation.

And no, no one wants to take out loans in this economy, but did you know that loans are payable, for 10 years? People have 10 YEARS to pay them off. And repayment is based on income... if you only make 2000 a month, then you can pay 50 bucks or so. Or, they can put their loans off for a few years until they get on their feet. A student loan is not a death sentence. I'm worried about how I will pay off my (Currently 49 THOUSAND I owe in student loans) But I'll make it happen.

No one is denying that racism still exists. White people are definitely racist against other races. She is stating that black people are racist against white people as well, but it's more "Politically correct" for a black person to complain about white people, than it is for a white person to complain about black people.

Number one: Oil greedy? Not even sure exactly what that means, but please tell me how "oil greedy" we are when you're using rollers, driving a car, drinking out of a plastic cup, even using your laptop. ALL PETROLEUM PRODUCTS.

Number two: Bush didn't help during Katrina? New Orleans wasn't even the worst hit area, but it got all the news. Oh, and the fact that the residents were raping each other, murdering each other, stealing money on their FEMA debit cards, all while complaining that no one was helping them. Sound racist? I couldn't give a smurf less because I was in the thick of the smurf. While people were opening their homes, we were getting called racist. FEMA has failed miserably with Sandy, the same way the failed miserably with Ike. Somehow our nation is always under-prepared for a natural disaster that we can smurfing see coming for a week. I guess Obama must be racist against guidos.

Number three: the economy went to smurf under Bush due in large part to factors that began under Clinton, including a record number of raises in the interest rates by the FED, the dot.com boom/bust, and the real estate bust lead in HUGE part by the dot.com bust. Do your research. Bush may have been a couple steps above retarded, but a lot of the smurf that happened was set in motion long before he was in office.

I don't think anyone is trying to say racism doesn't exist. It does. It is not as violent as it once was; it's more in undertones. However, ALL RACES ARE GUILTY of it now.
