And you get experience by working, then you try and move up the ladder. Or you do what people who pay for their own college DO. You get grants, scholarships, and loans. It's sure not impossible.

Poor people HAVE the opportunity to go and get an education right now... if they don't... that is their own fault.

And before you tell me about money and opportunity... I'll call bullsmurf right now. *I* go to school on student loans that I have to pay back later. I get grants based off of income. I go to school. Loans aren't based off of where you live or credit. If you're a U.S. Citizen, and dont' have a felony drug conviction, or have not defaulted on loans in the past, you CAN get financial aid loans. ANYONE can go to school. I process financial aid for a living and have for years. I know this smurf. If they dont think they have "time" to go to school, many legit schools offer online education. I work full time, have two kids, and still make time... because I WANT it.

People will find any excuse to not better their situations. anyone can move forward if they WANT to.

Yes there is loabs anf financial out there, but don't get it twisted it is NOT an essy road because everyone does not have the same situations that makes it easy to go school and get a degree. A lot of minorites grow up into a family that has nothing. This makes it harder dor usbtonaccomplish our goals. Even if you do get a job and of course its not high paying you have to pay those loans back and now a days you dont just magically get a job right after graduating. I've heard and seen a lot of bs and unfairness towards black people and orher minorites in the work force. So it's not as easy as you say it is. Tell me why is it that cops are trained to shoot a black people that looks suspect first and ask questions later? And you think we now have no reason to be racists? Be black for a day and maybe then you can relate.

So, you think it's HARDER to get financial aid when you have nothing? Have you ever heard of a pell grant? If you get those... guess what? Your GPA, that has nothing to do with anything, and you can go to school, 5500 bucks a year, FREE. That more than covers spring and fall semester in community college. Which can get a degree, and a boost up in the job market. People don't go to college because they CHOOSE not to, not because aid to do so is impossible.

And that's not fair to say at all. ANY minority in a different racially dominated area has a hard time. Right now, SO, DD, and I are having a tough time over here, because we get racial slurs tossed at US all the time. We're the minority here. My child has been physically pushed because of the people here, BY the people here.

And cops are taught to shoot ANY person who looks suspect, aka a gun or weapon in their hand, on sight. NOT just black people. It's defend yourself first, ask later.

If you do have a job your either going to get partial or no financial aid. Who the hell wants to take out loans? Obviously most of the time the cops are not on danger they just shoot because they think we're suspect and armed when were not. That same damn story always happens to black people. Dont give me that crap they're just defendin themselves. Tell that to trayvon martin's parents, Ramarley Graham's parents. What about sean bell and Amadou Diallo?
