How exciting! So I assume your doing an unassisted home birth. Tgats truly awesome.

I could feel my contractions but they werent painful. They started at 2 minutes apart so hubby made me go to the hospital. I was still walking and talking and smiling so I shocked everybody by being 8cm!

I hope things go well for you and your hubby gets his head in the game and makes it hone when you need him!

He will. Yeah my midwife was stumped with my second she kept checking saying I was 10 and I was just laughing and kept saying hold on I need to call my mom. I wasn't taking it seriously at all because I didn't believe it.

Haha! Thats awesome! With daughter I progressed super fast and the nurse in the room with me didnt believe me when I said it was time to push. I told her once and she didnt even check me. When I said it again she said she was gonna step out so I said "Fine, I am pushing this kid out with or without you and that midwife!"

She looked under the cover and sure enough Miss Bo was coming!

LOL you sound like me. With my third when he had his water broke it dislodged him. The nurse was walking out she said I was maybe a 6. I turned and said omg come back I need to push. She rolled her eyes. I screamed he is coming. She turned looked and started to panic because he was. She yelled for the doctor in the hall he had gloves on half way and caught him. I was like told ya

Thats great!!! With my son(first) they made me wait to push becaise my.midwife was stuck in a wreck. The pressure was insane!!! So I wasnt doing that with my daughter. His birth was 1 hr 46 mins from the first cobntraction to delivery. Less than an hour at the hospital and would have been even shorter if i wouldnt of had to wait to push. My daightets birth was 36 minutes!!!!

They tried having me wait because my son needed to turn before I could push him out..so everyone left the room and a few minutes later my body starting pushing for me..most horrible feeling in the freaking world! I thought I was dying lol. I screamed at SO to go get the nurse and he was kind of shocked and scared and said "what do I do?!" and I screamed "Get the nurse!! AHHHHH" lol..he ran out of the room and thankfully they were in there fast. It sucked so bad though because when they got in there and I started pushing my son kicked my ribs and I seriously thought he broke them..it was the worst stabbing pain ever! It hurt for like 3-4 weeks after having him. But yeah I'm only 5'2 with a smaller frame and he was 10.05 lbs and 21 1/2 inches long..so he didn't have much room lol

It's okay that your water doesn't break! It's actually incredibly rare and special. My son was born in his mostly but then they popped it and I wish they hadn't until he was fully out. It's supposed to make pushing 10x easier.

Ahh congrats let us know when he gets here. Your so lucky I didn't get to have a natural delivery with my daughter. She was coming through the birth canal with the back of her head and wouldn't drop. I never made it past 5-6cm and I was in labor for 4 days with 16 hours of induction. After 12 hours on the pitocin and I could feel she was stuck I finally asked for the epidural because I knew I was getting a c-section

You poor thing! Wow. I have been taking my labor stoppers I am trying to get rid of my poison ivy and wait till hubby can take vaca. I don't have to much control but water hasn't broke and now with meds my contractions I did have are gone. So I know sounds crazy but trying to keep him baking till we can be ready.

I know exactly what you are talking about I almost went into labor at 37 weeks while we were moving 135 miles from where we were living and I was doing everything I could to keep her in until we had gotten settled. She flipped breech during the move though and stopped all progression

Don't scare me! LOL we are just not ready because we don't have family here and with the vaca time it doesn't work. Plus trust me I am DYING from this darn poison ivy. I went to the hospital today because I had issues they thought I had high blood pressure but it was my thyroid again. Because I was blurring out on vision. But I am fine and so is baby so I got released. I have to have my hubby because he is delivering me for a home birth. But we will ONLY do a home birth if I am cleared and baby is. Which both of us still are. Thank god. I just thought I was doomed when I had to go in because I thought due to stress my blood pressure might actually be high, but it was 112/75 it was high for me. Anyways it was so nice to hear it wasn't that. I knew my dream of home birth would be gone if it was, and I would of had him today. But yep thankfully I don't feel any pain yet from the contractions. But now are completely gone from the meds. I have hope we can hold on. LOL when EVERYONE else wants it out.
