I rarely watch it, I don't have cable.
I did watch one episode the other day at my moms. Some girl that got preg to be on tv.

My brother cancelled my DVR that day  

That was one of the most smurfed up episodes of Dr.Phil I have ever seen. Both mothers horrified me. How can you say that you hate your child!!? I cried like a little bitch for both of those poor kids. I cannot imagine my mothers telling me that she was going to kill me and then kill herself, or telling me to run away etc.. I sure hope that cps was notified immediately. It was sad to me that her mother wanted to help care for the daughter and the mother was too pig headed to let her put ideas into her daughters head.. blah blah blah. I can't believe what kind of people exist in this world!!

The first MOM I felt bad for, too. Having a special needs child is not at all easy and I can't even begin to imagine how frustratimg it must be. I think her husband should have pushed her into counselling much sooner.

Unfortunately that show reminded me far too much of my own childhood.

Yea, you could see how remorseful she was, and that she wasn't proud. The other mom on the other hand.. psycho.. and when her daughter was talking about how she talked to her barbies and how they told her that her mom was always in her heart and stuff... broke my heart into a million pieces. I cannot imagine what kind of problems that woman created within that little girl.   Nobody should have that kind of childhood.
