I live with my mother still and i pay for the cable and some of the water. But my boyfirend drives so we do pay for gas we just dont have a car payment because my step father got us a car for my boyfirends birthday.

right but I mean, you live w/ her. When you live on your own, you'd realize quickly just how much you & your boyfriend really make. But that's not bad, no one expects a 15 & 16-yr-old to be financially stable or anything. Just don't act delusional about it. & that doesn't make anyone a smurffy mother. So you don't pay rent, power, food, insurance?
Not knocking you, it's great you have a job and paying for some things. But you still are relying on your parents.
If it wasn't for your stepdad buying you a car then you'd either, not have a car, or have a car payment which is an extra bill.
