I'm really torn on this, in principle I don't think kids should have kids but in reality I know some amazing people who were moms at 17. If my daughters got pregnant under 17 and were still living at home and in HS I would probably push for adoption though, but definitely support them if they kept the child.

I have 3 children before 25, and they're fine. My SO is under 30 and earns double what my dad earns.

I had my kid at 15, i wasn't|not a bad mom. This is stupid, if a teen mom didnt want her kid then she could of just put it up for adoption simple as that.

I got pregnant with my first at age 18 and had him shortly after I turned 19. I honestly think that answer depends on the maturity level of the mother. If she wants to keep the child, I feel like a good support system should be in place, so she can still accomplish her dreams and provide a stable future for her new family. But, I also feel if she is not mature enough to handle it, the child should be with a person who can, if she decides to keep it and not have an abortion.

I'm only 24 and I have 2 kids and 1 on way. I got pregnant with my first at 19 and had her at 20. I dont think age really has anything due with when it's right or wrong to have a baby. And I'd told lady at doctor office that she needs mind her own business she doesnt have right tell you to give your baby to an older person. She doesnt know what kind of mother you are to your baby.

it would never happen. at least here.. maybe in china, but not becuase your young, and they wont just give your baby to someone they would kill it : /

Eh...When I was 15 I was working min wage...but still working. Couldnt work past a certain time and only certain hours because of Child Labor Laws...could no way in hell afford to care for a baby. If I would to end up pregnant and have it, my mother would deff be raising it and not me at that age. If you have that support, then nobody should be able to take it away...however, if you don't and your child is suffering from it, then CPS should deff get involved.
