special k diet

Has anyone tried it ? does it work ?
If not what are some good diets that do.
Me & DH will be dieting once we start the gym in a few weeks, just wanting some things that actually work. No crash diets or anything that's super unhealthy for you.

It works! My mom lost sooooo much weight doing the Special K diet, she had the cereal, shakes, meal bars, then a regular dinner.
I've heard a lot of success stories about the Special K diet..

Awesome !   Me & DH love the cereal anyways and we eat cereal alot, So replacing 2 meals a day with it wouldn't be so bad. We also like the bars. You can have one meal a day of your choice as long as it's sensible. Which we'd do dinner for that meal. I'm excited about trying it !  

Make sure you measure cereal amounts.

I find it hard to eat more than 1000 calories eating mainly veggies.
