My Dr said that when I go in the hospital at 2pm they will start the cervadil and the next day in the morning start the pitocin. Do you think that if the cervadil doesn't work at all that night that they will just go right to pitocin or wait until the next morning for pitocin like planned.

No they dont do c section unless baby gets stressed or heart rate starts dropping.

He is trying to prevent a c section, but I am nervous for one.

Most likely wait or atleast they did with me because they have give it certain amount time to see if anything changes.

It worked wonderfully for me, it sent me into labor after about 6 hours, then I started to progress really quickly. I would totally use evening prime rose oil right up to your induction date. Take a as often as your possiably can.

I had to get 2 doses of cervidil. They were 12 hour doses. Went from closed, thick and hard. To 3cms 80%effaced. And then afterwards I was given pitocin.

i had cerdil and something like cirdil they both did nothing i then had pit for 3 days did nothing then it finally occered to the dr to break my water i went from 3-4 to delivered in 31 minutes at that point. With my second they just started pit did not try cirvidil and they broke my water so her labor was 22 hours dont ask how long i pushed because i dont know i was taken to the OR for emergency surgery right after i had her. I did not deliver her plecenta so i had a d and c and i needed blood.

Wow 31 minutes is quick. I hope for a quick labor.
