Yep...then it's actually the responsibility of the people that actually created that baby. Imagine that. Personal responsibility. Maybe a bit more thought should have been given before the sexual act so the pregnancy would have been prevented, but then again that goes back to personal responsibility and apparently there are many that think that is too much to ask.

Yeah, b/c birth control is 100% effective.

Accidents happen, and no woman should be forced to carry a pregnancy against her will. What a woman does with HER body is HER business.

Yes... Because all unwanted pregnancies are a result of ineffective birthcontrol that was used properly... Right...   No a woman shouldn't be forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy, but I believe most unwanted pregnancies could be prevented in the first place. There are WAY too many unwanted pregnancies and abortions for it to simply be a failed birthcontrol issue.

We all know how babies are made and we all know how to prevent it. But many choose to be sexually irresponsible or careless with birth control. Then they're surprised when the get pregnant. Shocking!

I can tell you my unplanned pregnancy was from a bc fail. I was taking it the same time everyday religiously.

If I were to get pregnant now (I don't have sex so this is hypothetical) I would abort no questions asked.

I agree that it's possible, but look at the number of annual abortions. I seriously doubt all of those...even a majority are BC fail.

If you're not having sex right now but you got pregnant right now...you couldn't abort.

You'd be aborting baby Jesus.
