PCOS Women on Metformin

Hello Ladies, Those of you who are on Metiformin, Did you doctor ask you to wear a medical bracelet? or is that only if you have Diabetes? <-(SP?) LOL I have recently just got back on my metformin after going a year without it and on my prescription it says to wear a medical ID while taking this medication.. Im just curious. thanks
