My toddler is growing up so fast.

posted 8th Nov
While I was doing the dishes (about 10 min ago), DD comes up to me with her blankie and said, "nigh nigh". I asked her if she was ready for her nap and she said, "okay mum". As I was washing my hands to go lay her down, she went into the bed room and laid down by her crib and was falling asleep. She's such a big girl. I put her in her crib and now I'm sitting here at the computer crying because of my stupid hormones.   Why do they have to grow up so fast???

Pointless post. Just thought I would share my hormonal sadness.

Oh gosh. I don't ever want my daughter to tell me she doesn't need my help. I would break down in tears. Lol.

My husband doesn't understand. I called his work crying now all of his co-workers are wondering if I'm okay. Haha. He said to them while I was on the phone, "She's just being hormonal, she's fine.". Lol

Awh, how sweet.

I definitely know how you feel. DD is 4 & talks about how she's ready to go to school next year because she's a 'big girl now'... & I'm over here like   'umm, can we please slow down a little here?!'

I'm not scheduled for anything but I am expecting him to be early and so is my OB. With my DD, my water broke and she was ready to be here at 36 weeks. I'm starting my weekly appointments right after Christmas. Eeeeek.

I have my glucose test in 4 weeks then go bi weekly after that :/ I'm hoping that I pass! I had borderline preeclampsia last pregnancy but it was kept under control so I actually went over my due date but should I get it again I could go earlier. It feels weird having a scheduled c section but I hope everything goes as planned!

I've been going through a lot of the same thing. My husband thinks I'm crazy. I work full time and I'm going to school. We're having another baby in April and my two year old is getting so big, I feel like I missed so much and I try to spend time with her as much as I can but sometimes at the end of the day after I've been working all day and she's been with Grandma or Nana or Daddy, we're both tired out. On the days we have off together, I always try to fit so much in and make up for when I'm gone. I'm getting so emotional. I want to be with my babies all the time but I believe in working along with my husband to have enough money to comfortably raise our babies without them being hungry or cold or ever having to worry about things. It's just really hard sometimes when I can't always be here...
