Teacher interviews.
posted 8th Nov
So last night I had student led parent interviews at the girls school.
It was as usual very well with my 10 yr old dd's class. She showed us her progress and her best and favorite pieces of work etc.....And as usual got to talk to her ISP teacher. Who told us that she is doing very well and her reading and writting levels have shot up a lot since September. Yay! lol
Then I went to my 4 yr olds Kindergarten class, and got to see her work she has been doing and her favorite activities and classroom projects they are working on. And read her portfolio and she is doing amazing and a very good child. yay! lol
But yet again (pisses me off) her teacher avoided me. Every time we go for these things her teacher wont give me the time of day, not even for 5 min. I have never spoken to her at all. Ava likes her teacher and has never said anything so IDK what the issue is. She went around and talked to all the other parents, but when I saw her and went to talk to her she turned around and started chatting it up with someone else, some one who just walked in the door. Like WTF??
I called today, and of course, its oh with all the differents parents unfortunately the teacher cant talk to everyone, its too busy. Ok I get that, I really do, but we have gone 3 times and 3 times it was the samething???? We had a meeting for something else at the school, and it was supposed to be me and the teacher and when I got there it was the teacher's aid. I am honestly thinking her teacher does not like me for some apparent reason, and I dont know why at all. I never met the bitch EVER. lol
I never had any issues with this school with my oldest EVER she has been going there from kindergarten and now grade 6. Never Ever had issues meeting a teacher till now I mean we dont get notes home saying Ava is bad, or she is behind or anything and the teacher's aid used to be both my kids daycare worker as well as my oldest brownie leader, and I talk with all the time and says Ava is doing really well, but I would like to meet and talk with the teacher at least once. KWIM?
At the start of the year I had to write a note asking what her teachers name was, Ava couldnt remember, and hetr teacher wrote notes saying she was a good kid had lots of fun the first day etc....but never signed it, grrrr. Its really getting on my nerves.
Sorry its so long, needed to vent.
