Just wondering...

When they check you for STD's while you are pregnant do you know what they exactly check you for? Do they test people for herpes? A post I was reading made me wonder lol. I know they check you for HIV, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and HPV...but I wasn't sure if they checked you for herpes.

Hm, i just had that done yesterday and when i asked she listed those, but not Herpes.

Good question. Also, the HIV was an optional test, like, she asked me if i wanted them to test for it or not.

Generally you only test positive cor herpes when you're having an active outbreak unless you've had it for more than six months, then it's detectable by blood test.

Yea, they asked me if I wanted to test for it too lol.
