I'm the video game junkie in my relationship. SO didn't see me for three days when the new wow expansion came out!

I've got him hooked on this game now called political machine and next, he is trying the Sims.

That's jason too. every other month it's a different damn hobby. Fishing, to RC cars (yeah) to now ice hockey. and they're all expensive hobbies.

my DH is taking 2 weeks off from work around christmas time. i am dreading it because i know the whole time he is going be playing video games or watching football or something and I am gonna be in a bad mood

I do know how you feel though. I was with someone years ago that was addicted. Of course, it was before kids & all that, so it was a bit different, but I just can't understand how someone can sit and push buttons for so long every day. Woof.

it annoys me so much, i wish he'd focus more on his family instead of his stupid hobbies. ugh! our jason's could be BFF's hahah

I love my DH and his video games, lol! We go to Gen Con together and have an Xbox, ps3, ps2, and a GameCube. I'm the computer game nerd, though. I play WoW and Diablo III.
His gaming has never been a problem, financially or emotionally (like, interfering with being a dad or providing). Our girls love playing games with him now, lol.

Yup they could! move here and the guys can take over the bottom floor with their crap and we can take over the rest of the house with the kids

our problem is the location of his game. like i was saying in another comment, we have a 3 story house, his man cave/game room is in the guest room on the bottom floor. life mostly happens on the other floors right now, so he's tucked away doing his thing, while i'm up with the kids.

my SO was addicted. He has his own office video game /man cave room where he disappears for hours. Out of the blue he stopped playing and wants to sell his xbox now. I don't know how he managed to grow out of it but It's a good thing!
