Lol, DH asks permission before he plays hahaha.

DH is ADDICTED to playing COD. He and a few of his buddies go on it at the same time every night to play together   He's playing it right now

a rare breed, indeed! DH is like that now. he loves them. used to be the manager of gamecrazy before they closed. but he just doesnt have the time anymore.

Man, what i hate is that we live in a 3 story house, and his little man cave is on the bottom floor, in a corner guest room, so when he's playing, he's nowhere near me or the kids, and there'll be days where we see him at dinner, and...yeah.

it's just hours and hours... of like, being an elf, killing pandas.

my SO used to always play till one day he wasnt helping me with smurf and i ripped the cords out and threw MY ps3 across the kitchen and broke the thing... dont have that issue anymore now he always helps and spends time with me and the kids!

haha oh god, i could never play that game. my dude KNOWS it's ridiculous, so talks to me about it all the time, and i like, involuntarily burst out laughing after about 30 seconds of pretending to seriously listen, haha, i just...can't.

See when DH plays he's in the living room, so he's around us.

I can see why'd it'd be upsetting for to not see someone you live with for hours because he's off in his own little word.

Mine doesn't either. He plays wii at work sometime (fireman)

lucky, this is my SO's schedule, work 11 pm-7 am come home, 8 to 10 play video games while holding DS, 10 to 6 sleep, 6-9 play video games, 9-930 bathe, then leave for work lol

exactly. see, THAT i could handle more, the kids at least could be playing around him while i pretend that he's a functioning part of the family, haha.

I'm one of the lucky ones. DH doesn't play video games. Ever. He's more of the 'outdoorsy' type.

He will let me whoop his butt in some SongPop or Words with Friends while he's on his breaks at work, though. Baha.

One time DH had a game going that he NEVER saved or turned off. He had a few hundred (or more I don't know..) hours worth of play time on it. One day while cleaning I accidentally hip checked the system and everything was lost lol   It really was an accident!!!

my dude used to be. he has boats 'n used to fish when the weather was still nice. he's about to start up ice hockey so i'm pretty sure it'll be video games AND ice hockey and we'll see even less of him.
what annoys me is, i have ZERO kid-less/'me' activities, and i don't even really want them, but to him, this is just what's "normal". he works, so the rest of his time should be for 'him'  

yup! except my guy has an obsession with a million other things on top of video games.....like football, racing.... it drives me crazy!!
