I walked in with High BP to my dr twice.... She gave me a low dose of BP meds and sent me on my way. Now i take them to protect my kidneys.

Nope, my mom has high BP... Like heart attack high but she does not take care of her self....My dad has had 2 heart attacks as well and they dont know why.

But I'm 27. I'm still considered young even with genetics.I hope they do more.

That's so extremely ridiculous sounding. To just give meds out like candy without first trying to see if its caused from other things first.


I mean smurf, 3 months ago I was 115/80.. now I'm 135/105.
I'm not over weight either. I'll be piiiiissed off if they write a script and send.me on my way.

No offense, but arent you like sorta severely over weight?

Ok so, i have another appt in 2 weeks. for a work up.

my bp was 135/100 at hte start of the appt and then it dropped to 130/80 at the end, so she said we will take it again at my physical in 2 weeks and see. if its still high, i get the bp blood test stuff, if not.. then wooo!

yes but that has nothing to do with my BP or anything. They think i have it becuase my moms is high and i think my dad may have it.... When i was seeing a dr before i got pregnant with my son i was fine no problems, my dr told me i was basically the healthiest heavy set person he had ever seen.
