This is probably going to sound stupid but ever since it's got cold and I've had to use my heat its electric heat my DD stays stuff And coughs could it have anything to do with the heat bc before now she was never sick...

It's dryer air. Plus if you've just turned it on, it can be dusty and the dust is burning off. You know it has a certain smell to it when you first turn it on.

Ya at first it did have That smell we been using it for a few weeks would a humidifier help her.

Yes.
It may help you all as well. Not as much sinus pain or dryness. I know when I was in PA my parents had a humidifier for the winter. They got rid of it one year, and we were all miserable.
