Of course efficiencies are going to differ from place to place....but your post office is just as broke as mine, I promise.

We spend more money per student than any other country and yet their educational successes pale in comparison to places like China. Nothing efficient about that.

No not at all. I'm just disputing the idea that government runs absolutely everything in the ground. It's not the case where I live, nor where I'm from and everywhere I've lived in between.

I'm quite up to speed on things in the rest of the country, I just happen to support Obama and obamacare so you are instantly turned off to my opinion. I genuinely believe obamacare will help. It's not just the wait times. It's the fact that places like the post office are completely broke. They can't afford to run on their own so they count on the government (taxpayer) subsidizing their inefficiencies. If they were a private business, they'd be gone by now.

I showed up to the DMV 15 minutes before they opened because I didn't want to wait with 3 small children. As I drove up, I noticed there was already a line of 10-15 people waiting outside the door. WTF is up with that?

Nothing wrong with Oklahoma. We can open carry now and next year they are eliminating the state income tax because we have a budget surplus. Oh, and the state is taking the fed to court over Obamacare.

Yeah but it's necessary for the current times. Things need to be changed but there's very little that can be done to overhaul the entire post office. It needs to be phased out, but hands are tied because too many people still depend on it.

Privatize it. The private sector always runs more efficiently and more coherently than the fed.

I believe it needs to be phased out, but right now it needs to remain operational. So yes putting money into it until another solution comes along is the solution.

I'll ask again, you believe it should just be done away with?
