no sex

Yep, you read that right. I can't have sex with SO for at least 6-8 weeks, maybe longer. He had shoulder surgery yesterday and has to have it immobilized for at least six weeks and will be in a sling for six months. He also had his deviated septum fixed, but those bandages come off in two weeks, and no kissing until they do.

I can't have sex the rest of my pregnancy. And I am only 13 weeks.
Yeah, not fun.. Plus tack on 6 weeks after delivery... yeah..

I'm on pelic rest til MAY---at least you can masturbate!!!. We had sex for ONE month after he came home from deployment (8 months of no sex). I found out I was knocked up 3 weeks after he got home and I'll be on pelvic rest until may 1 (if pregnancy goes that far), then will have a few weeks to wait PP TOO.


My hubby came back from deployment ripped with 20lbs of extra muscles and turned into a beast in bed (he was good before, but extra muscle = extra manhandling! Lots of new positions since I'm 30lbs lighter too and he can hold me up for basically forever now!).

TORTURE. But worth it for a healthy baby.

I would go crazy, but you two should have beautiful babies at the end of it all and they are worth it every time.

My last was born at 23 weeks, but I'll have more help this time (had none last time). I have to make it til at least April (32 weeks is April 3) and hopefully to May 1 (36 weeks). But I'll be on strict rest for a lot of this pregnancy to help my odds.

I go on bed rest at 28 weeks. Till I go into labor. This time the babys in my left horn. I have a bi cornate Uterus. Sp??? I never remember how to spell it. But yeah no sex for the whole pregnancy. I have to be as stress free as I can. I also have a lo more help this time around. Esp since my son if 3 going to be 4 christmas day.

My oldest will be 4 next summer. Luckily he's gotten a lot more independent and I'm starting training him to do small things for himself. He goes to the bathroom and wipes and washes his hands and such all by himself (whew!) and I keep a snack basket on my counter, so he can go and get himself a healthy snack without me having to get up. I have a water dispenser on my fridge, so he can get his own drinks (he gets 1 cup of juice or milk, but drinks water the rest of the time), so it really limits how much I have to be on my feet.

I'm going to whine some more.  

So, after I got DD home and settled with Ex-DH, I went to help out SO. He needed help changing clothes and I gave him a sponge bath because he can't shower (he has 22 stitches in his shoulder). He and I had a good discussion because he said that if we stay together, this could possibly be my life in 20 years or so. I found out that I am perfectly fine with taking care of him and would gladly do it for the rest of my life. I also don't think that he would be so old in 20 years (he turns 50 in a few weeks) that he couldn't bathe himself, but he gets whiney when he is hurting.
