brown period blood

so i started taking the last weeks worth of my birth control pills on sunday. I'm just now "bleeding" today and it's brown. Is this normal?

Yep period blood comes in all different colours. It should change to normal in a few days - if not seek medical help x

If it doesnt get heavier and go red you might want to take a hpt.
Other than that maybe its just some old blood that needed to come out first.
