please help!

hey umm idk how to stard this off but ummm I have to be outta my dad's place by 1-1-13 and idk where to go! like dont have no family members that want to deal with me or my kids. and im scared to go to a shelter. im on pleny of waiting list for apts but it seems like they are taking for ever! someone please help me idk what to do.

Go to DSS and tell them you are about to be homeless and they will help you find emergency shelter

Though, to be honest, you have 3 months. That is plenty of time to find a new place to live

Cliche, but you gotta do what you gotta do. How many kids do you have? Do you have a job? If no job do you have possible child care to get one? Waitin lists can take forever. If you are staying there rent free is it possible you could work as much as you can right now to save for 1st and 2nd mo rent and security, just so you have a roof over your head when you get kicked out? Then if you do work, if you can claim your kids you can use your tax return to pay the rest of your rent till you find something steady? Even just a 1 bedroom is home as long as you can get all the kids in a bed and you can crash on the couch. It beats a shelter. I'm not sayin shoot for the ritz but is it feasible to do what I have suggested?

Im not a shame of saving money I just dont like the shelters down here cause I dont want nobody coming in our room/bed and do somthing to me or my kids! Im trying the best I can do. I dont have a job (yes iam looking). every lil bit of change that i get from doing hair, babysitting, or whatever I try to save but everytime I turn around Im buying diapers (I use washcloth for wipes), milk washing powders or somthing that we need! I just pray that one of these based on in-come apt. come in soon!!!

no job looking and filling out apps. all day long!!
and he said I have to be out by 1-1-13
