OMG I know! That is what got me the most! I literally cannot even talk about it because I WILL go wake up DS just to hold him.

i havent heard about this, but my heart just sank..   what mauled him at the zoo?

5 minutes he screamed? the mother didnt jump in and sacrifice herself?? omg i want to google, i just dont want to cry all night.

A mom sat her 2 year old son on the railing over an African Wild Dog exhibit so he could see the dogs.

He fell down a story or so to the concrete and the dogs' pack mentality went into full swing. =[

I cant even imagine... Omg that is my fear at the zoo... I would never do that. They made sure to invdstigate she isnt some phsyco that did it on purpose?

I dunno. The staff couldn't get in far enough to save the child and they ended up shooting one of the dogs who wouldn't stop attacking the boy. I am just really sad and couldn't imagine what he went through. It's just heart breaking.

A lot of the moms in one of the threads said they'd either die trying to save their kid or kill themselves after...how do you live past that?

I posted an article about that on my FB and it made my friend cry, too.

Wow. I can't imagine thinking you're going to the zoo to spend time with your kids.. then you don't even come home with one of them. Poor boy.
