Seriously, I will NEVER understand why people care so much about this type of smurf, it's not like she wants to be induced at 35ish weeks.

I don't mean to be rude to you as a person. I just said that because that is my personal opinion when someone wants to purposely make their baby be born before they are ready. Also because I know how it feels to see your baby on oxygen and under the lights for jaundice for 2 weeks. It's not a fun feeling knowing your baby can't breath on his own. And if I can try to help somebody not have to go through that then I will.

Doesn't hurt to ask- the worst he'll say is no. And who knows, you might go by then on your own by then. Just bring it up at your next appointment.

I know *my* doctor wont induce until 41 weeks at the minimum. But more than likely you will be ok. And it isn't selfish when you suffer from anxiety issues I know I've been there

Wouldnt hurt to ask. Personally i wouldnt want to be induced just because my mom or dad wouldnt be around

I also know how it is to have a baby in the NICU for several months and lose a child after birth at 41 weeks. We may never know but maybe Abigail would still be alive if my doctor would have induced early

I'm not scheduled for an appointment until the 16th, so I might call tomorrow so I can at least attempt to mentally prepare myself if he tells me no.

I would do that. Because you can't really be blindsided with this especially with your anxiety issues

In Oregon there is a law that you can not induce or have a c-section before 39 weeks unless there's is a medical reason to do so. Most doctors will wait till your at least full term now though .

I think that is something you will have to discuss with your doctor about it. I do know that my Ob will induce if you are 38 weeks.

Awe I am so sorry! *Hugs* I couldn't imagine that happening and to tell you the truth it is a fear of mine! If you don't mind me asking... Was it a still birth, or we're there just medical complications from waiting to long!? That must have been horrible and you must be a very strong woman to go through a ordeal like that! <3 May God Bless You!
