baby food ?

dear mommies . ive noticed my little one watching me eat my food like he wants some , or whenever i eat he wakes up to watch . . . is that a sign he wants real food ? hes almost 4mo

He is getting interested in solids. However he may not really be ready yet to eat them. That is up to you to decide and if you are unsure then ask your doctor 

Just cause he wants it doesn't mean he needs it. We didn't do solids til 8 mos. does that mean she wasn't interested or ready?!?! No. She just didn't need it. You're the adult you make the decisions.

Usually it is but it isn't recommended until 6 months or so. Or 5 months? I can't remember.

6 mos.

No, it means he is becoming more observant. Babies like to watch people do everyday things like eating.

he could be starting to eye your food, doesnt mean he wants to eat it quite yet..


the new age to start solids is 6 months.

Also just because he's watching you eat doesn't mean he's wanting solids, could just mean he's being observant.

My baby does that as well, but the doctor said not until 6months. They don't need anything but breastmilk/formula till then! :]

thanks ill ask his doctor .. he tried grabbing my pizza & pushed it toward his mouth, lol i cant wait til his day comes  !!
