I didn't BF and while dh helped a little with the feeding I still did the majority being a SAHM lol. My mil tries to say he just doesn't help bc it's generic bc his dad didnt help but I don't buy it and I told him I don't buy it and when I need his help he needs to help (man I sound like a bitch   )

Not at all. I'm at SAHM as well But my hubby just wanted to do it while he could.   He figured that he would miss out on a whole lot being at work all the time and this was one thing he wanted to do. He also now baths both of the kids and reads to them before we put them to bed he's very hands on much more then what i expected.

talk to him OP. when my kids father became distant and didn't want to see me or hang out with me bc he was "tired" he was cheating on me. while i was pregnant with our baby. but he's a dick and had cheated on me the whole time. so it wasn't a spontaneous thing..

but i'm also not saying your SO is cheating. he may just be scared. idk. you wont ever know till you talk to him. and also, sometimes it's better to be separated and co-parent vs being together and being miserable. it sounds like you have your cards in place with school. just don't give up on that.

i also had to get to a place of being utterly miserable with BD before i finally felt okay to leave. i hate i waited so long to do it. but i got with my current DH not long after leaving BD (was supposed to be a friends with benefits type thing. yeah, i fell for him. and he fell for me)
