What's disgustingly morbid, is you telling someone you don't even know to abort their baby because her SO is acting weird

Perhaps your mother should have aborted...

You never have anything nice to say.

Well fine. SO's grandpa has it in his will that when he passes away, we will get his house.

Sorry to hurt your little feelings.

Alot of guys don`t get excited until they see their baby for the first time and fall inlove. When I found out I was pregnant my spouce was really scared, he wouldn`t straight up tell me he wanted me to get a abortion, but I knew he did. I had already had one and I swore I could never do that again...but I wanted him to be on the same page as me...we went to a counselor to talk about our options...(and sometimes with a third party its easier to get out how your feeling)...he said he just didn't feel ready but wanted to support any decision I made..he would not have straight up told me he just didn't feel ready because he didn`t want me to feel forced to do something I didn't want to do..... ultimately I knew I was keeping the baby, and as the time got closer he got more excited ....Guys are different then girls when it comes to this a lot of the time, especially if it wasn`t planned, he probably has a million things going through his mind and is scared, (I don't know just a guess).. Just give it time though!

My husband told me once that it's not real for them until the baby is born even with our 2nd baby he was detached from it all. Your partner may be in a little shock so be sensitive to him and he'll more then likely come around. Try to involve him in things and talk to him that's the only way. and if it's not ment to be then move on but don't throw it away just yet give him more time.

hope for the best for you and your little family.

But it took my SO a while to get used yo the fact a little one is gonna be here and our lifes are changing. Theor are a lot of negative people on this site but also many great and helpful people.
Just give him a little time to adjust to the news

!!!! My DD is 8 months old and my DH told me a few weeks ago that he really didn't 'bond' with her or get really excited and stuff (this sounds horrible I know but I promise he's a great father lol) until she started playing more, like around 4-5 months. He loved her from the beginning but it didn't seem 'real' to him when she was a newborn because she really just slept.

I couldn't breast feed my 1st 2 so my hubby gave me quite a bit of help with feeding and he got to bond with them really early in their lives   He could very well be the same as your's if I can BF #3 will have to wait and see.
