what do you think of this post

one of my high school friends posted this

"Aside from who won the election... I'm asking my Facebook followers of my generation to share this message from me. It doesn't matter who is president, the future is in our hands. If you keep taking what the government is giving, the pool will eventually run dry. You can't drink from a glass and expect it not to become empty! Eventually, you will need to get your ass up off the couch and refill th
at glass. So get up, go get a job, become a doctor, police officer, business owner... Something that will benefit you and your children's future and stop taking the handouts! The only hand out worth taking is education. Because that is something even a family earning 6 figures can barely afford out of pocket! Go to school, get a job, and make your life better and make your babies futures better and stop draining my tax dollars and eliminating my social security benefits! To many people I know need a good doctor and healthcare, to many kids need a Christmas, to many kids need food and education... It's up to our generation to make that happen! If you are a stay at home mom and that is listed as your employer, I understand and there are options for you. Online classes, at home businesses (itworks, scentsy, thirty-one, pure romance, many of others) and many stay at home mothers have a second half helping the household and/or are going to school. And to those women! Well fought! I commend you! But if you're at home, no job, not enrolled, not trying, drowning in your tears of a baby daddy that left you for your sister and won't pay child support... Fix it! My mother did!"

this is what i'm thinking about writing to him (yes i know my grammar sucks)

i'm a stay at home mom because it is cheaper for me to stay at home then to go to work cause my check would go to gas, car payment(cause we would have to get another car) and day care for riley, i don't have time during the day to go to school even online heck there are most days after getting done cooking, cleaning, and chasing riley that i don't even have time to take a shower, where would i find the time to go to school (i would never get any sleep and with my LD i wouldn't understand any of it "Cliff you know how i am with school") we don't get asst like food stamps or housing the only thing we get is WIC yes we are getting ready to apply for food stamps because jareds job at the foundry is cutting back to 40 hours a week and with child support and everything coming out oh his check that leaves us with 100 a month to pay our car insurance and internet(which we use as a phone to cause we don't have a house phone or cell phone) and that leaves us with nothing left over after our bills are paid yeah i'm hating that we have to go on asst. but we need it for the little bit of time that the foundry is cutting back hours and i don't know anyone to work avon or anything like that since i have had riley i have lost so many people in my life cause the don't understand i just get up and leave anymore if you know what i mean sorry this is so long and i don't want to sound like i'm whiney or anything but i'm not i'm just explaining that some people it is cheaper for one person to work and that not all stay at home moms can go to school and everything like that also want to add i have a messed up back from a wreck i was in when i was 17 (i don't know if you remeber it or not cliff) and it is hard for me to get a job cause of my back and i have tried to get ssi but they tell me i don't have enough proof for me to get it

I love how people think you can just get up and get a job. It isn't that easy. If you live in a town like mine, unless you have experience or want to work at a factory whenever they call you for work..then finding a job is difficult, takes time, and takes work. Which....You still need food in your cabinets, even when you're looking for work.

I got the impression that it's geared towards mothers of this woman's generation, but I may be wrong.

Where there's a will there's a way. DH and I have too many odds stacked against us. Ex-cons, former junkies, low income, raised in broken homes...He has two jobs and I'm abandoning my disability to find work.
