Eh. With my first I went 5 days overdue, and my daughter was a little on the bigger side, and had to be checked out by the NICU right after she was born because she pooped in the womb before she could be born (I had an induction). With my second I was induced 3 days before my due date, everything went fine. I think depending on previous births, I wouldn't see a problem with it.

And when I went in to be induced with my second, I was at 5-6 cm when I got there anyways lol. So I just went forward with the induction, I would have probably had her that day anyways.

I was induced at 39w 6d, given the same situation I'd do it again. Not that I wanted to be induced but SO was going to be gone for 15+ hours the entire week I was due, and I had no family members or friends that I could count on to help me

It's not my place to say. I don't have a problem with it. They would be the ones having to deal with health problems that come along with preemies. Not me ;D

hate it ... and you can't even get it here unless you're able to pay out the nose for private health insurance (upwards of $10,000 for maternity cover) and find an ob/gyn who will perform it.
