Thanksgiving

posted 7th Nov
So this year will be my first time cooking a Thanksgiving dinner for just DH, DD, and myself. I have NO clue what to make! DH doesn't want a full turkey so we've been talking about just getting a turkey breast. And of course stuffing. DH and DD LOVE stuffing. But I'm at a loss what else to make.

some type of casserole is always popular, whether it's macaroni or green bean or something like that.

Mashed potatoes are a MUST in my family, also green bean casserole & my hubby likes cranberry sauce. Rolls of some sort are good too

We always have: turkey, ham, stuffing, corn, biscuits, green beans, mashed potatoes...and some other stuff that I can't remember.

Also, tons of desserts!

Maybe order a ham from somewhere and then just make a few sides. Like homemade macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, etc.

Make a few pies, too!

mashed potatoes, corn and dinner rolls or maybe a salad. If it was me I would skip the mashed potatoes and just make a sweet potato casserole. Oh and don't forget the gravy!

Pumpkin pie is a must in this house.

We usually go home for Thanksgiving and Christmas but this year we can't. I am pretty excited that I get to finally have this time with just our little family.
