I'll never forget reading in my pregnancy notes 'passed an onion sized clot'... An Image I would like to forget. Yes that is a clot you passed.

So I need to call my doctor right? or does it depend on the size?

How many weeks PP are you? And I was told only to mention it if it was bigger than a ten pence piece, but I don't know the equivalent in American coins... (assuming you are American? I didn't actually read your location, lol)

It depends how many days/weeks PP you are. I passed a lemon sized clot like two days pp. it scared the smurf out of me lol

5 days post partum and it was about the size of a nickle.

No, Im 100% alone. And my discharge papers say to call if I pass a clot, But I really do not have time to go in. I have my new born a 3 year old and I babysit a one year old.

Well as it was only small I wouldn't worry personally... But it's up to you what you do. I am 6 weeks PP and just started my period with looaaaads of clots but my Doc says it's normal...
