Home made candles..

Has anyone made there own candles before? If so what is safe to use as jars that can go in the oven ?

I made some but I used baby food jars

You can put Mason jars in the oven. I use them to make cake jars. Lol

If not there, they have them at WalMart, Target, and most grocery stores. They are usually used for canning foods.

yeah and I you can buy jars on ebay also I got a really good deal on some at krogers like 17 cent a jar and I just did all the cleaning my self

Cool, thanks ladies. I am going to try to find some holiday scents and make some my self. These holiday scent candles are expensive. I just bought some pine & ginger bread ones today and though bet I can make my own candles.
