BD Problems.

So, i'm 30 weeks pregnant, everythings going well with the baby. But, this has been on my mind everyday expessially since it's getting closer to having the baby. I'm 21 and it's my first child, i was in Florida with the boyfriend and he's always had anger problems and he would hit me & i moved back to Ohio with my family, found out i was pregnant and went back and he would hit me & i knew it was wrong so i left and i've been back in Ohio since July. I still keep in contact with him because i want him to be able to see his son when he's born. My family hates him, and i talked to him a couple times about if he's coming up for our son to be born. He says he wants to but doesn't make plans for it and doesn't really talk about it. Or anything else that will happen after he's born. I want answers from him & I only have 10 weeks left until my due date.

What would you do if you were in this situation.

honestly i would just let it be.. if he comes he comes if not he doesnt..

I would not want him to be a part of my childs life when he HIT me! Being abusive while pregnant to me = he doesn't care. Sorry.

Honestly I wouldn't give a rats ass about him coming to be there since he is VIOLENT!

I wouldn't let him around my kid alone if he is violent.

I would just tell him you'll let him know when you go into labor. If he wants to make plans in advance, he will. If he doesn't, he doesn't.

Umm why would you want him around your child if he is abusive? I wish the best for you

Uhm, me .. I would be like "I'm having your child this day, are you going to show up or not?" If he says yes, leave it at that. When the day comes, whether he comes or not, have child support papers ready.

You are better off by yourself! you don't want someone abusive around your baby, lots of luck  

I've thought about that too, he grew up with his dad being abusive to his mom, and i don't want my child around that at all, and i will make sure he won't be, i guess it's just better to leave it alone and see how it goes, but i just have so much anxiety about it, my 'father' left when i was two years old, so i know how it is to not have a dad, i don't want that either for him.

I could understand, my son's dad was abusive as well when I was pregnant, I was sad and alone especially when my child was born, it hurt me that he didn't care but now I'm soo happyy, and I know if I would've stayed with him my life would have been miserable.

You are much better off without him!
