I'd have loved to have waited until I was 7 cm before they broke it! (I think each hospital/doctor has their own protocol)

[snip!] ... process take what should I be in store for and things like that....I'm excited but scared at the same time....any advice ladys.”Everyone is different i know they induced me at midnight on the 8th and i didnt have my little boy until 2pm later that day thats a long time, they started inducing me with that little pill they stick up into your cervix and then it didnt work so they gave me pitocin my doctor broke my water at 6ish in the morning and then i went into active labor and ohh it was terrible...dont let them use the little pill it will drag it out!!! or it did for me anyways

It just feel the contractions more, which happens in natural labor as well. Contractions hurt, even more so when your water breaks. That has nothing to do with induction, just part of child birth. I got my water broken at 3cm.
