The ones on my belly really don't bother me too much anymore.
But I have them on my arms and calves, I HATE those.
I feel so embarrassed to wear short sleeves or shorts.
I used a belly wrap from the time I delivered DD until about 8 weeks PP and I think that helped with the saggy belly problem.

oh i have the ones on my legs too  
well mine are on the backs of my knees. i haven't felt comfortable showing my legs for several years though so i guess i'm used to that. i've heard bio oil works really well for stretch marks.

i thought about getting a belly wrap but i thought all of the results were temporary and they're only like one time use? what am i missing here

Not like one of those it works wraps.
More like a girdle kind of?
It was like rubbery on the inside and you wrap it really tight on your belly and leave it all day.
It works your muscles for you and makes you sweat underneath it to burn the extra fat cells.
