Start 17 day diet!

I am going to do (at least) one cycle of the 17 day diet to get me good and healthy then I am going to start the 30 DS.

I already want me some carbs.

This is interesting, but I'm not big on cooking a lot and eating veggies... would it work for me too? I really need to get healthy

Yeah it is going to suck watching my family eat all the good food. But I plan on making turkey sausage and sauer kraut tonight and they can have the potatoes.
Just eating lots of veggies and lean meats is key, then incorporating other things into the diet after 17 days.

Today!
I had 3 egg whites and one whole egg scrambled with asparagus chopped and salsa.
And for lunch a salad, with canned chicken, and a can of artichoke hearts.

I love the 17 day diet! I lost 20lbs in a month and a half. And I barely exercised. Now if only I can be motivated to do it again lol

i am starting today. just had breakfast
1/2 c cottage cheese with peaches and green tea

lunch will be a salad with grilled chicken, broccoli, carrots and fat free italian dressing with green tea

snack-apple

dinner-chicken lettuce wrap with onions and tomatoes and of course green tea
maybe a yogurt

the hardest part for me will be making sure i drink enough water on top of the green tea.
do you do the water with lemon juice first thing in the morning?

I did the last two mornings but forgot today, I try to do it before I drink my coffee. I still put a splash of creamer in my coffee but picked up the fat free kind yesterday. And I can't stand green tea except before bed I drink some sleepy time. SO I have been doing black tea, and the water is so hard yesterday and the day before I could only choke down 5 glasses.

My weight on Wednesday (don't remember time) 194.5
My weight this AM 189.5. I am sure it is all water weight but hey it is a start.

Breakfast I had a Quiche stuffed tomato (Tomato with a couple leaves spinach, a couple mushrooms and less than a half cup of egg beaters) and coffee
Lunch I mixed together some greek yogurt and some newmans own light balsalmic vinegarette (basically Olive oil and balsalmic vinegar) and it made a ranch-y taste. I used that for Broccoli, Cauliflour and Carrots.
And I just had some pineapple tidbits (LO ate all of my apples last night and today so I have to get some more.
I ate a can of tuna on the side too.

Tonight I am going to make smothered chicken breast for SO and LO with cheese. and mine will just be with mushrooms and onions. Not so sure for a veggie for us. And I will probably have some FF Cottage Cheese then too.
