Quoting Honda450:" Ok from my observations Obama supporters have been SO calm and collected this WHOLE time. But Romney (in my friend list) supporters have been annoying and loud and being beyond rude!"

I agree! And I bet that if Romney won, the Obama supporters wouldn't have been acting like the Romney supporters are now.

Adults have turned into winey, rude children over this. People have resulted to racist comments, name-calling..it's absolutely terrible.

I hate the stupid picture that said "Obama is projected to win for the first part of the day...until the rest of us get off work"

It's such a slap in the face to us hard-working democrats. I went before work, and voted for Obama. And I am so happy he won.

If people are so upset ty should worry more about congress. A president is really no more then a man who makes suggestions. Congress makes it happen. I'm staying off FB for a few days until it dies down. I hate Obama and Romney but I'm not crying.

Quoting Honda450:" OMG I am sorry! My cousin told me my vote didn't count since I didn't go to college and I am uneducated. ... [snip!] ... won. I was like wow, good to know. I never said anything. But not a fan of the words my children are hearing. It shocks me."

So many people are saying Obama won because all the lazy, black, people on welfare, and the people who don't work voted for him.
Well....I'm white. And I have a full-time job. I'm not on welfare.

Honestly yes I supported Obama, but all I ask from people is to be respectful and nice. I would never bash anyone for what they believe in. That is why we live in America in the first place.

<blockquote><b>Quoting ℳary ℐane:</b>" I saw someone on FB compare Obama to Hitler and that the world is going to end.  "</blockquote>

They are comparing him to hitler because he said we will rise together and we will fall together.

Which is I'll admit kinda eerie, but not quite hitler.

I've hid so many people from my news feed because of this election, it really sad to see all of the racist comments and I actually saw a picture someone posted of a mannequin of president Obama being hung by the neck for sale at a gas station in Jacksonville FL (where in originally from). It makes me sick to my stomach

I saw that too. I was offended also. I voted for Obama before I went to my full time job.

I'm sad because I forsee Catholic hospitals closing because of the hhs mandate. America needs those hospitals.

Personally religious freedom is also America, yet.. apparently its not.

I know!!!!! My husband and I, sister, and my mother (dad was Romney, odd duck I guess lol) We all have VERY blessed lives. We all own homes, brand new cars and everything. We are not poor, and we have jobs. All of us have been to college. I am the only one that has graduated (due to stopping to be a mom) but going back to finish. So I hate how they say it's only that. Because we honestly don't fit that at all.

There was some statistic that showed blacks and Hispanics were his top voter percent.. and women.

Which is where people are getting some of that too. Add in their inner racsist and whalah.

I beg to differ....the people on my facebook that were for Obama speak terribly about people who supported Romney. I have not bashed or called Obama names and I hope he can do some good for the country. But I saw a lot of ugly in my friends during this election season, from both sides.

Really? I guess I just have mature Obama supporting friends. I haven't seen one rude comment towards Romney yet from my Facebook.

Both Mittens supporters and Bronco supporters are being pretty ridculous on my Fbook today.

Mittens, "THE WORLD IS OVER!"
Bronco, "IN YO' FACE, smurfS!"

Both are pretty icky, IMO.
