Thing I hate most about being...

a single mom is if one of the kids is sick I have to miss work. Everything falls on freaking me. Financial responsibility, being home with them when they are sick. RAWR!

I'm new to the single mom thing and I know how you feel. Everything is already 10x harder with a kid, but being a single parent with a kid...ugh!

I hope things go okay for you Momma, hopefully your LO starts to feel better.

I have a sick kid and I am a sigle mom, I had to miss work today -yet again- to care for him. Smurf is hard

 
I would always miss work when LO was sick since I made way less money than DH. But I was the only one at work in my position so no one could cover me....so my boss would give me attitude when I needed off. And the first 6 months I worked there I needed off at least once a week due to LO's sicknesses. It SUCKED! I can't imagine not having financial support.

yea my hours are gonna be cut due to this. Smurf smurfing sucks.   I know SO will loan me money but I hate asking him for money since he has bills too and the kids' aren't his to take care of. This is when I wished I was getting child support.

yea Mom watched him yesterday so I could go to work but she has to work today so that is a no go

I'm with you. Ugh, i have 4 kids. I've missed way too much work lately, why can't they get sick at the same time?!

I know right? Last week though I would have been at work all week if I wouldn't of fell at work and had to go to the doctor because I couldn't move my arm so they can't hold that against me right?

Of course not, that's workman's comp issue.

I've missed one day the last three payperiods. Ugh, i work when I'm sick.. Bit cannot hire a sitter when kids are throwing up!

That is my issue. I'll go to work if I'm feeling like death, but if the kids are sick I can't get a single soul to watch them. Their dad's step mom said oh I'll watch them if they are sick so you don't have to miss work. Yeaaaa sooo much for that.
