Farting.....

posted 7th Nov
My son will ba a month old tomorrow hes been on formula for 2 weeks but even when he was on the boob he farts all the time. Sometimes kinda cries when he farts (cries for like 5 seconds until the fart comes out) are some babies just farters haha. Even when we are sleeping at night I hear him laying in his bassinet all swaddled and sleeping but farting! He's my first so im not sure if this is normal I mean he is a boy afterall maybe he's just programmed to fart!

DS does the same, for some babies gas is painful. Try massaging his tummy or winding his legs like a bicycle. When your feeding him the tongue sucking motion helps move digestion along which is why they sometimes just comfort suck so its normal for them to poop or fart when they feed.

Just imagine the pain lil Guy would be in if he didn't fart. Just like above said better out then in. Cause if experienced it one time of him not being able to get the gas off his tummy you would be praying for him to fart. But all sounds normal   we used to call my lil sister who is 9 now pooters when she was a baby
