Fb election comments.

I log on facebook this morning to see everyone saying we need to pray because it's going to be the end of the world as we know it since obama won the election. i can't help but laugh just because they are being so dramatic. Not that i was for Obama but for someone to say the world is ending and it's going to bring the rapture is a little nutty!

Shoot I have been called a murderer, Satan worshiper, and too ignorant to function for supporting Obama. These people then go on to say that only Obama supporters name call. 

I don't know about all of that. What I'm afraid of is my parents losing their business. They worked hard to build that company...heck I worked hard to make it happen to. I can only hope people are wrong and they don't suffer.

I've been told I'm poor and lazy and only want Obama to remain in office so I can remain poor and lazy...even though we are not on any kind of assistance and I wouldn't call a SAHM lazy   people are just ridiculous.

same here, everyone is referring to him as the anit-christ and saying he wears the mark of the beast and smurf like that. My feelings on the matter are, "get the smurf over it and quit your bitching, theres nothing we can do about it now, and no amount of bitching is gonna change it"

INSANE!!! Everyone knows you move to Switzerland! They have Chocolate and you not too far from Germany for the beer. Hide out for 4 years then come back and try again.

I understand people having their concerns from the economy thats natural but the end of the world stuff is just to much.

i think its ok to be disappointed or whatever... its ok to fear some policies that may not be in YOUR best interest, but theres no excuse for name calling or hateful comments! like this gem straight out of my very christian friend's facebook:

I totally agree. people were totally INSANE right before and right after they announced the winner. all i said on fb was "curious who wins cali" and people started going off on me like ARE YOU SERIOUS!? i'm like... uh yeah... whats so bad about it?

Yupp I just lost a friend of 8 years thanks to this election because I made the same switzerland joke I just made there and instead of talking to me calmly about our differences in beliefs she started cussing me out calling me names and then called me childish for my beliefs. I told her I have to politely disagree theremark about me being childish because I have neither name called or cussed and I have reasons for not wanting Obama a president beyond the color of his skin (yes she pulled the racist card although she is black and my best friend meaning I must be raciest right?) She has since removed me from facebook and told me I need to learn how to hold my self as a better wife and mother. Still without ever asking my reasons. Needless to say Im so ready for all this election stuff to be over.

OMG!!?!? if someone told me i need to be a better wife and mother over a difference in opinion on the election i would be insanely livid! i don't blame you for being upset. Sorry you had to deal with that!
