no one likes the name! vent

This happened last time! My sons name is Axle which everybody hated when we picked it except for my bil and dh's cousins. Now everybody seems to love it. Well we plan on naming our next little man Maverick Gunner....well everybody hates that name, like telling me you really shouldn't use that name like i get you don't like it but i mean its my baby and I'm going to name him regardless of wether you approve it or not. I just don't get how people can get mad at me for naming my child what i want to name my.child! Opinions are fine but there like holding it against me telling me they won't be calling my child by that name!!! Ughhh vent sorry thank you   i feel better

Everyone hated Axton when I picked it. (No idea what they thought about Deagan...he died 12 hours after he was named so no one was rude enough to say anything about it).

He's 3.5 now and he's Ax. Period. No other name even makes sense for him, IMO.

Who knows what we'll pick this time. Whatever it is it will be a real name spelled the way it's supposed to be. Beyond that, they can STFU!

Girl everybody's been giving me hell about my daughter's name too. Until THEY push YOUR kid outta their hole, they can suck it =D lol.
I love the name Axle (Cuz of G&R idc at 1 point that man was sexy) and Maverick is masculine & different.

My son goes to pre-k with a Maverick. I don't think I'd use it but I think it's a super cute name!

I remember telling my mom if she kept nagging about names I was picking out then I'd name a little boy octavious and a little girl Athena! Needless to say that got her and a lot of other ppl to back off hahaha. I remind them I sign the child's papers not them so not to push it. So far I have a Lillie Paige and my girl I'm carrying now is jade Marie
