As a nickname i really like it & was considering it (Name: Corinthia, Nickname: Cori/Cory) But not as a full name.
Though, i dont know why she'd be made fun of? Cos it's more on the boy side? Her little friends at school might just see her and know her as Cori, er..."Corii" and be fine with it.

The double 'i' is ugly, but I knew a girl named Korey when I was in highschool.

Not the best name in the world, but I've heard far worse.

No. Cordelia, Corrine, etc with the nickname Cory, I wouldn't but I pick that option over Cor-ridiculously-stupid-double-i.

I know a girl called kori. She was never made fun of. She was named after her dad who passed away when her mother was pregnant with her.

I have an aunt Cori...short for Corrine. I don't think it's terrible. I personally wouldn't name my daughter that but I don't think she would be made fun of. Plus in school, if she really wants to, she can drop one of the I's when she writes her name.

I actually went to school with two girls named Cori, a girl named Cory, and a girl named Korey.
None of them got made fun of. Yes the double i is silly but still.

If you're talking about the spelling it's only as silly as the spelling your mother gave you and your siblings
