If you used a manual breast pump before

How did you like it ? Does it work out okay or did you hate it?

I like it, but only for occasional use. The key is to get the milk to "let down". Once that happens, the milk flows freely.

I only used it for relief when I was engorged. I MUCH prefer my electric dual pump. It is way faster and doesnt give you a hand cramp. If you plan on pumping for feeding purposes I'd recommend an electric.

how much was it?

Yeah I want the double electric playtex pump but its $72 new. I could probably get it two weeks after she's here. But I was thinking maybe I didn't need a electric one. But I have heard the manual ones suck. I plan on working part time so I need a pump.

That's not that bad if it works as good as you say  . I'm thinking about getting one. How long does it take for you to pump enough milk?

one to three days. Depends on when I need a bottle for. I usually just nurse unless I have to go someplace. Takes 3 days if I only pump once a day after one nursing session. Or one day if I pump after every session.

Mine is brand new. She opened the box in front of me and all.

Hmm that would be nice. Not trying to sound like a snob I just am a germ a phone with certain things. I would rather buy a manual cheap pump then get a used one.

I got mine from WIC and it was brand new.
