Fair price for an Ergo?

I fell in love with the Ergo Galaxy carrier and decided to try and find it cheap. How do you think I did? I've seen a lot listed new for $120, I paid $70 new. Hubby is kinda freaking out that saying I didn't save that much... is he right?

I've seen them go anywhere from $50 to $100 so I'd say you got a decent deal.

Where'd you buy it? If it's fake, you didn't do well at all because aside from fakes not being safety tested, if you were careless enough to knowingly use one, you could probably find them cheaper.

I got a second hand (genuine) ergo galaxy for $50. So I'd say $70 brand new is good!

Ebay tbh. A seller from China. I've never had problems with ordering on there or outside the states so we'll see when it gets here if it's a real one or not. But if it is, that's a good deal then? If it's fake, what would give it away? Anything to look for in particular?

Most likely a fake. Go to the Eros Facebook page they list fakes and such. Also you can google how to spot a fake. I almost bought one from eBay.

Can you post the link to the one you bought?

At this point it's becoming harder and harder (almost impossible in a lot of cases) to determine the difference between real and fake ones. It's best to buy from an authorized retailer so you can be sure of the authenticity.

There are a few things that will be different from the real deal. The fakes are very well made though. Usually the stitching will be off a little and a different color. Sometimes the ergo symbol patch is different.

If it's coming from china an it's 'new' it's most likely a fake. I was afraid to buy my ergo carrier off eBay because of all the fakes (the galaxy is te most faked design) so I bought mine at babies r us.
